Our story, our mission

Discover the heart behind Love Flows EMPOWERMENT. Learn about our journey, our commitment to vulnerable children and youths in Freetown, and how we are building a brighter future together.

From our roots: a commitment to give back

Love Flows EMPOWERMENT was founded by former youths of SOS Children's Village in Freetown. We grew up and received high-standard education there. As orphans, we were given a home, a family, brothers, and sisters by SOS. Now, having achieved various skills and talents in life, we have united to give back to the younger generation and help educate the less privileged. Our goal is to empower them to develop their talents for the betterment of our community and country.

Empowering through skills and knowledge

We work with talented youths who are ready to teach valuable trades such as carpentry, soap making, home economics, batik, gara tie-dye clothing, sewing, and hairdressing. We also provide essential tuition classes. Our aim is to ensure that vulnerable children and youths use their talents to build their lives, feel proud of what they have learnt, and transform their futures. We want to get them off the streets, provide their basic childhood requirements, and prevent them from becoming a lost generation.

Transforming lives, one child at a time

We have witnessed incredible transformations in the lives of the children we have worked with. By sponsoring their education and supporting their welfare, we have seen them excel. Children have been able to attend school and regain lost years through educational and vocational teachings, which has had a profound positive impact. For instance, one child we supported studied diligently and is now a barrister. This is our core aim: to empower the lost generation who lack educational opportunities due to various financial difficulties.

"Love Flows EMPOWERMENT gave me a second chance. They believed in me when no one else did, and now I am building a future I never thought possible."
